Prof. Dr. Musa Siddik

A Career Devoted to Healing

Professor Dr. Musa Siddik serves as the Principal of Rangpur Community Dental College & Hospital and provides daily patient care at his own Dental Maxillofacial & Implant Center in Rangpur.

He was initially accepted to study Physics at Dhaka University and Bangladesh Agricultural University but chose to enroll in a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program to work directly in patient care. During his undergraduate studies, he ranked first in every professional examination under Rajshahi University. He subsequently passed the MCPS examination among the youngest to have passed it and passed FCPS Part-1 with distinction immediately after completing his internship.

At the time he completed his full FCPS qualification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, there were only a handful of such specialists in all of Bangladesh. He received employment offers from renowned hospitals in Dhaka and from abroad but turned them all down. He chose instead to settle permanently in Rangpur to provide medical care to the people of his own region.

He treats routine dental conditions as well as complex cases including oral cancers, jaw fractures and facial tumors. He has completed international training at institutions in South Korea, India, Malaysia and Japan, holds IAT Japan Certification and certification in the Bicon USA implant system, bringing advanced surgical techniques and technologies to North Bengal.

Today, he balances his administrative duties at the Dental College with his regular clinical practice at his own center. His early decision to turn down opportunities in Dhaka and abroad ensured that complex maxillofacial and dental treatments remain accessible to the ordinary people of his home region.
